We believe the Bible clearly teaches us that baptism is the first step of obedience after making a commitment to Christ. Baptism allows a Christ-follower to communicate to the world their heart-felt commitment to Christ. It is an outward symbol of an inward commitment.

At Northstar Church we know people often have questions regarding baptism. Why should I be baptized? I’ve already been baptized, do I have to do it again? Does it matter if you are sprinkled or dunked? If you have questions regarding baptism, please contact our office and we would be happy to help! In addition, we share extensively what the bible says about baptism at each Exploring Northstar Membership Class.

We have baptism celebrations multiple times each year in the Gulf of Mexico at St. Andrew’s State Park and our own facility. It is a wonderful, moving celebration in an incredible setting provided by our Maker. It’s a time for everyone to come out and celebrate with those who have made the decisions to give their lives to our Savior, Jesus Christ.
